Reviews and Ratings
I had high hopes for this place, but it was quite a letdown. The location is great, right at the East entrance of Yellowstone, and there’s a nice historic aspect with the original Buffalo Bill hunting lodge on-site. However, the condition of the rooms was really disappointing with cleanliness issues and a musty smell. The food was a mixed bag as well; we had a pretty serious problem with undercooked chicken. Not the best value for what I expected.
We had such a memorable stay at this cabin resort! It was nice and clean, with a beautiful quiet atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. However, the experience was a bit overshadowed by some issues with the service and cabin availability. The location was fantastic for a Yellowstone adventure, but just be aware of the rustic accommodations and check ahead if your preferred cabin type is available.
Pahaska Tepee is an excellent starting point for exploring Yellowstone's East Entrance, just a short drive away. The setting really gets you in the mood for adventure, though it's important to note that it's a bit rustic and lacks some modern amenities. The rooms are decent but could use some cleaning up, and while the location is fantastic for park access, the facilities and dining options are basic. Overall, it's a fair value for the price if you're looking for proximity to Yellowstone.
My stay at Pahaska Tepee was quite a mixed bag. The rustic cabins nestled in the woods offer a charming atmosphere, but there were significant drawbacks like tight parking and a lack of basic amenities. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service, which helped offset some of the inconveniences. However, the rooms were in need of serious attention for cleanliness and maintenance, and I was disappointed with the limited dining options and slow service during peak hours.
My stay at Pahaska Tepee was quite the mixed experience. On one hand, I loved the cozy and clean cabin with stunning mountain views, but on the other hand, I encountered a room filled with a musty smell that was hard to endure. While the restaurant was excellent, the lack of modern amenities like Wi-Fi and air conditioning in the room was a downside. Overall, I appreciated the charm and how close it was to Yellowstone, but I did expect a bit more comfort for the price I paid.
